November 27, 2007 WCC Meeting
December 2, 2007 WCC Meeting
Resident since 1988
Chair, Wildomar Land Development Review Committee
Member: Wildomar Round Table Committee; Historical Society; Chamber of Commerce
Past Secretary, Wildomar Incorporation Now
Past Vice-Chair, Wildomar Municipal Advisory Council
Cityhood Incorporation: The Promise and Realities, UCR, Oct. 1988

In 2002, as growth and development issues began to affect our community, I felt compelled to become involved because I care deeply about Wildomar, its varied residents, their quality of life and the community's potential long-term viability. I educated myself on planning, development, transportation, fiscal, environmental and regulatory issues and began advocating for our community at the local, county and state level.

The direction of the City Council's work in Wildomar is something that can profoundly affect our community. It will involve hard work, dedication, the ability to compromise without sacrificing integrity, and a cohesive vision of our community's next phase of life and the steps needed to get there.

I believe by asking citizens to become involved in a Visioning Process we can come to a consensus on a positive future vision. By employing innovative planning, conservation and conservative fiscal policies, we can maintain our unique chosen lifestyle, yet improve upon what makes Wildomar special.

I am Bob Cashman and I hope you will vote for me on February 5, 2008.  I  am running for a seat on the Wildomar City Council.

Wildomar has been my home for the past 29 years.  My wife, Diane, and I were married in 1972 and have raised five children in Wildomar; Crystal, Beth, Kimberly, Jennifer, and Robert.   I work as an aerospace engineer

  • Elected  to Lake Elsinore Elementary School Board --1985-1989. This gives me experience with the budget, facilities, and other complex issues of a public organization.

  • Cartographer, Wildomar Map, 2001, Chamber of Commerce

December 2, 2007 WCC Meeting

My name is Bridgette Moore and am running to be a member of the first ever Wildomar City Council.  My family and I have lived in Wildomar for nine years.  My husband is Stewart Moore and we have been married for thirteen years and we have one son, Jake.

I started volunteering for Wildomar in the year 2000 after our parks were closed.  I was attending the Municipal Advisory Council meetings and was asked to join the Wildomar Parks Formation Committee.  While volunteering for the last seven years as Parks Committee Chairwoman, Vice-Chair or Secretary, I helped create a master park plan for Wildomar and helped to successfully pass a parks assessment which led to ultimately reopening our parks in 2007.  I received a commendation award from Riverside County Board Supervisor Buster in December 2006.

December 2, 2007 WCC Meeting
I have made my home in Wildomar for the past 34 years; I am a Mother, Grandmother and a businesswoman.  My heart and five generations of my family reside in Wildomar.  I owned and operated my own company in Wildomar for 15 years; I am a founding member of the Mission Trail Library; I serve as a Director for the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, a Director for SRCAR and on the Professional Standards Committee.  I also served on the Wildomar Advisory Council (MAC)

Wildomar is a community on the move; we need to look at traffic, police and fire.  We must have planned and balanced retail, commercial, industrial and residential growth.  Dollars need to flow into the City not out.

My experience, as a businesswoman, has taught me to balance budgets, manage staff and respond to problems and challenges.  I live and work in Wildomar and will have the time to listen to your concerns.  Given the opportunity, I will put my experience, my ethics and knowledge together to help create a CITY we can all be proud of.

Make the choice for LOCAL CONTROL! Vote YES for city hood.

Make the choice for BALANCE! Vote for Marsha Swanson.

From Candidate Tierney's web site www.MichaelTierney.net:

"My name is Michael Tierney, and I am running for Wildomar City Council. My wife and I have lived in Wildomar since 2002, and we love it!  I believe I have a strong educational background and the experience necessary to be a productive member of Wildomar's first city council.  This is an exciting time for Wildomar and it's residents, and I hope this website provides you with valuable information about my qualifications and goals, as well as my ability to represent the entire community.

Your city council is going to be tested and challenged.  In order to be successful, this council will need to be representative of the entire community and have the ability to work together.  The immediate goal will be to create and operate a financially efficient city.  I understand the dynamics and diversity of Wildomar, from it's open spaces to it's urban development.  As a council member, I hope to address the delicate balance between residents desires to maintain the open space yet control the inevitable, but necessary, development."
